In this, the third book in the Midnight, Texas series we have a lot of action and a big baddie. People have been coming to the crossroads and committing suicide. The town once more must come together and figure out just what is drawing people to the crossroads.
As always Ms Harris has given us a great rollicking read. We learn a lot more about all the characters who inhabit Midnight. From learning more about Olivia to finding out who Teacher and Madonna are and how they are keeping a restaurant going with so very few costumers.
My favorite part of this book was really the introduction of a new character. Revelations seems to flow from his appearance. Our psychic finds out he has a grandfather who is more than he seems.
The town comes together once more to deal with what is buried under the crossroads marked by the only stop light in Midnight. They fight a battle in a way that you would not expect in urban fantasy. This book was a highly satisfying read all around.
