book review: Armoires and Arsenic

A fun read with a different twist than is currently popular. There are a lot of cozy mysteries with women sleuths but this is the first one I have read where the character was an architect and designer. Being the new girl in a upcoming ritzy town it wasn’t surprising that she would end up a suspect, never mind finding a body in something she owned. Thankfully Ms Page worked around the cliche and gave us a good tale that was a one sitting read for a reader like me. Definitely in the cozy and light category of reads. As this series moves on I am sure things will get more polished but for now she is a four star read.
