book review: Forever Charmed: The Halloween LaVeau series

This fun book was on a free weekend when I picked it up. Halloween LaVeau is a young witch who has just come into an inheritance from her great aunt. The big, beautiful house she inherits she turns into a bed and breakfast, even though she really can’t cook. Before she knows it she has two handsome men show up at her door and the story takes off.

This fun little novel has enough twists to keep most readers going. There are a few things that might bug a serious reader of the genre. Occasionally it jumps around in an illogical way but over all I enjoyed this novel. As the first book in the series the characters have a chance to grow into something rich and deep.
