book review: Murderous Muffins

This book has issues. Too many cliches, bad pacing and i fear not enough research in how you actually write a murder mystery. The murderer was obvious, the cops bumbling and the heroine too scattered to make a decent detective. The only thing that kept me reading till the end was the cliche southern country sayings, which while they were over used and out of place, where really funny. I gave ms lavrisa one star since i finish and one star for those sayings. The third was because these characters have good bones and just might be worth reading with work.
