Book review: Small Town Witch

Ms Walker has given us a good tale here. Rosa is a very typical teenager. She has friends, has trouble with her mom and oh yeah, she is a witch in training. This is a fast read with a lot of the typical tropes you would expect from a teen age paranormal book. At times you want to strangle Rosa but at other times you find yourself really routing for this girl.

My only problem with this book is just as we get what should be the conclusion, it stops. This book suffers from NEP or not enough pages. We end without truly getting the end of this tale. It isn’t a cliffhanger, but there is a major scene or two than needed to be written and included. All I can hope is that it is in the next book. I gave this four stars because really other than the ending this is a fine example of the genre.
