I picked this up for a quick read. I was at first pleasantly surprised to see an older woman as lead character but as I read along got annoyed with how she came off. A busy body who seems to fall into stereotypical thinking about the people around her can be annoying really quick. I hope the author realizes that and loosens up Ida’s views. While the name of our hero is a bad pun at least she only used it a couple of times.
